WANTED 2.2 for donor car
« on: 06 November 2011, 19:53:19 »

Hi there i need a 2.2 omega to use as a donor car for an engine transplant into a vauxhall viva. An MOT fail or an accident damaged one would be ideal, it doesent really matter about the condition of the body work or the interior as long as it starts and runs perfectly and is relatively low milage. Any help or points in the right ditection would be appreciated.

Cheers

Dave

The Omega comes with a RWD box with normal car ratio's, so its a better allrounder.

Dave,

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but you might want to send a PM to Pippin.  Unfortunately his car was rear-ended and written off recently.  I believe it's going through the insurance now, but it might be a buy-back possiblility.

Few quid for him... good running gear for you.  :y

Definately 2.2 but think it might be an auto, sorry.

I don't think you specified that you wanted a manual in your original post, but I really should have assumed you would.  :-[

Frontera's are RWD too, I have both a Frontera and an Omega, But there are loads of very cheap Omega's on Ebay, and you could always get the manual gearbox separately to the car and get an auto Omega for the engine. HTH. And good luck.
