Another successful trip to Wheels in Motion

I'm always impressed by WIM, everything tidy, all tools kept neatly in tool boxes, torque wrenches used.

Had another successful trip, my 3.2 was previously lowered & with all suspension changing the camber was totally out. Its had the WIM treatment, felt transformed on the drive home. The rear drivers side tow was partially bad for some reason.

I also asked them to re-balance the wheels as I was not pleased with what my local place did (coming home to find all the weights from one wheel on the drive) They re-did them, I asked as they were being re-fitted were they out? WIM replied:

"miles, 45g out on front, 35g out on the rear" - That was just one side  :o

Also found a bead seal leak on one tyre as they did not clean them up right, not using that local place again  >:(

Lesson learned, always go to WIM  :y :y

Yup. He aligned it, then used a gadget to fix it & hold it in place, while camber/toe was adjusted  :)

Was wondering that, I don't think so. He reconised me as I mentioned my old trusty steed the green 2.2.

But I paid £95, sure it used to be £67  :-\

Not going to quibble though, I'm still happy to pay that. Cost of 1 tyre, ensures they last!

Well, I got the front camber "within spec" ::), even if not quite to WIM's spec.  Actually, not far off what the Elite runs ;D

Is that missing front toe?

Positively bags of rear camber, there! (That's the one which is only adjustable as part of the toe setting, isn't it?)

He did say rear offside toe was maxed out, adjusted as far as it would go :(

For a setup by eye, thats now too bad, Mr T.  OK, camber slightly aggressive, but we weren't really going for it, knowing it was going down to WIM.

I'm quite pleased ::)
