I recently joined a Pug 406 forum which was very good and very similar to here.  I also joined a couple of Golf GTI forums, neither of which were as good as here  8) However they did help with a problem which I was clueless about, and I went on to fix myself!  :y  So not that bad really....

Sometimes log onto fiesta owners club and they are friendly and you get constructive answers on your technical questions.

Link to RIVAL Omega forum.  ::)  Not as good as OOF and has no maintenance section. Have a read and look around the site and comment on what you think of it.  :y

I not had any problems when looking around the site using Google Chrome and no security alerts from AVG. There seems to be a range of genuine Opel Omega users on there.

But as it is a Russian website, it is probably better to err on the safe side, especially as my understanding is that XSS errors create vulnerabilities that can be exploited by hackers, so the site could be compromised at any time.

I've found Google translate fixes some of the spelling mistakes, but the grammar is still very bad.  ;D ;D ;D

On a completely different note, I tried posting on What Hi-fi forum because I've got a fairly good Arcam amplifier which has just gone kaputt, so I tried asking if what I'm experiencing with it is a common fault and whether anyone knew what my best course of action was, and I had no replies whatsoever, despite it being quite a busy place...

Not used to that  :(

And my amplifier's still buggered :(

Missing playing my music loud :(

I frequent the Rover forums and some of the Audi ones a bit.  The Audi one is full of tumbleweed, sprinkled with 'dangle berries', the Rover one is all about bodykits and getting 400bhp from a 1.4 restricted K series ::)

Hmm. I've seen 253BHP from a K series. I'd be surprised if there was any more to come, TBH, seeing what that poor engine had done to it. ;)

What's the amplifier and what's the problem? Why restrict ourselves to fixing Omegas?

It's my beloved Arcam Alpha 10 amp, a while ago the power indicator light started to flick from green (on) to amber (standby) every few seconds. At first it was just doing it when it was on standby but then began to flick when in use. I've had it for about 15 years now and it always sounded fantastic, I'm really missing listening to music properly and not through a bloody ipod dock  :(

Can't really justify spending our meagre cash on a new or second-hand one at the moment, just wanted to know whether it was dead or not...
