£60 worth of gas!?

70L only costs me around £46 ish  :-\
As the useless retards at Shell Leadenhall were closed this morning and this evening (but were open during day), I had to go to Towcester and be raped 75.9p. £47 for 65l :(

Better than BP.... but Asda are always stars of my LPG filling. 67p now  :-*
Brakkers BP are 75.9p as well.

BUT
1) I ran out just south of Towcester
2) Already wasted 10,000 miles of Dunlops at Shell Leadenhall, couldn't face another 10,000 at those local inbreds at BP

break me Guffers, either you gas is dear, or your tank is huge :o

Was a fill from empty @ 75.9 p/l

Ah! Is this the tank with the "issue", meaning that the filler never cuts off ::)

Mines rotated to over fill a tad, I get 74L in a 90L.

59L in a 60L sounds dangerous  :o

So use a different garage, as that one is conning you. Unless you haven't got your tank right.

Tank is too small. IME, the more you fill each time, the more economical it is. I reckon a set amount is lost with each fill.

Fek me, I'm not far off that on petrol with my 3.2  :o

Exactly. :(........MID usually reads around 23 mpg (for what thats worth) car is well serviced etc. I can only put it down to  almost no motorway driving - almost all B roads,or LPG system needs a setup/sortout. :-\

I reckon on gas, MID overreads maybe 10%?  My CID reads 21.9, measuring suggests just under 20mpg.

Last sensible figures I have for my 3.2 (since LPG, the petrol stats are rubbish, as only gets a slap and dash every 2 or 3 k) is 27ppm ;)

 :o :o :o :o

GID currently reading 26.9mpg, but that includes country road blast back from WIM.

Given my 90% motor miles, reckon I could get more  :o

Good god, I clearly need some lessons in "How to drive like tunnie" - I get 21-22mpg around town, the best I ever had on a motorway run for a full tank @ 70mph was 28mpg, with the cruise on and no roadworks! I can't imagine how you get 27mpg on anything other than a steady run :-/

This was the new BP on the A12 opposite Colchester football ground. That one varies enormously for some reason.Sometimes it cuts off before I think it will, other times it does what it did yesterday.I find many of the pumps round these parts will put well over 50L in mine (according to the pump) the only exception is one near where I work, but Ive just had a week off and ran out on the way home from Chavtown on Sea yesterday.
I have considered a bigger tank,it would be nice, but too much aggro to get hold of one and fit it really.Maybe next summer,if I still have the car I will look into it a bit more seriously.

Only used a 1/4 of a tank, shall see over the course. I'm lucky though, its all dual carriage way/motorway from my flat to home. Its barley 1/2 mile off at each end before I'm at home or my flat.
