pi$$ed off
« on: 12 March 2008, 17:33:35 »

just had to move the car and it sounded like it was sucking air .It was, the air box has come adrift from its mountain brackets all 3 of them ?and pulled the MAF out (think its called that), and to top it off my spinal surgeon has just phoned to express his disappointment in my decision not to let him operate on me, Well would you with a 93% chance of ending up in wheel chair for the rest of my life. To$$er what
did he expect me to say

Now that is not good ... the spinal thing I mean ... the car is fixable ... life in a wheel chair ain't quite so simple :(

You obviously have a serious back problem .. I hope you find a more attractive/less risky solution ..  :y :y

none, but they cant guarantee improvement even if the ops a success,
by that i mean what they are trying to repair is so badly damaged that it may not work any way

i have degenerated disc disease. i was in total agony for a yr and a half nearly. then one day i woke up and was ok again, no pain. this has happened twice in last 15 yrs now. i was told i could have a lumbar epidural, but it may go the other way and i would be worse off, do they think were stupid.

i hope you get sorted somehow m8, can feel what your going through at the moment.

as for your car, forget about it for a few days and tackle it in a better mind. your feel better for it

My Brother-in-Law has had a problem with his spine since he was a child. I can't remember what it is actually called but his spine is twisting. He was supposed to be having two operations one from the front, then one from the back each 15 hours surgery.
He just waiting for the surgeons to be able to get together...
But has been given the same sort of chances :-[

, on some people it works within a week and will work for a couple of months and some it wont at all .Iam normally laid up for a day then i make myself move, but swmbo watches me like a hawk and if it does take to much out of me she's their .So iam not to bad in that regard and the Kidd's fuss over me. I think it all depends on how good the doctor is who administers the injection, Ive been lucky in that the pain centre where i go are considered to be the best in the country for pain management
