Sacking the injured and disabled HMF personell.
« on: 12 November 2011, 06:43:48 »

 >:(
Being ex-forces and having served my country I am f'in 'issed right off that the intent is now to sack those who were injured and disabled serving their country when they could quite capably and easily take the places of the civilians and 'public' service personell employed by the HMF.
It is a sheer national disgrace that those who have given so much of their normal lives can be disgarded with very little hope of gaining employment to support their dependants while the civil servants and 'Public Service persons in 'support' roles that are safely located far from danger remain performing duties those more deserving are capable of. Shame and disdain on them all.
At the end of the day, what have those civil servants and civilian employees done to aid their country other than to whinge and strike each time some modification has to be done to their salaries, employment or pension without regard to what the consequences were to the remainder of the public? Their present impending strike is more than ample proof of their selfish mindset! How long would they last on the front lines?  ;)

Once again it would appear that the OOF ... "I'll believe everything I read and do no research of my own" ... Mr Angry bus has arrived.

I dont love it when people who dont know what they are talking about see a hack job of a news story, purport it as truth and think they know everything on the subject.

Truth and reality has no place on the front page as it sells few newspapers.

Spot on mate .. and of course, everyone knows that the Telegraph never lies and Junior Officers always set military policy .. so you and I must be the only ones who are wrong .....  :)

Agreed .. and if that "thought" involved a small amount of research then the post would never have been made in the first place .. so the "emotive subject" would not exist.

It only takes 2 seconds of thought to realise that "Junior Officers" do not set policy.

Even you are perpetuating the myth by the statement "with this crowd nothing would surprise me" .. thus turning a non-story into a probable story.

So the "angry bus" brigade cling to the "no smoke without fire", "appaling if true" etc etc etc .. simply to justify their supposed anger.

However .. it is easy to read and post without thought .. even easier to cut and paste with even less thought ... never let the truth get in the way of a good headline

If this is true could it be down to Government cuts....trying desperately too clear thier collective messes up? If so none of our forces should be subjected to such as they appear to be overstrectched already.

Are there still high ranking officers languishing on comfy salaries? If so they should be told thier position no longer exists & sent home. Not with nothing, they've contributed & benefitted our country to get where they are but maybe should be retired on an affordable pension.

Just the thoughts of a civilian & not based on any real knowledge. Guy.
