Not being flush,which reader would be acceptable (any car make) for budget under £50?

You will be able to get one that will read most VX's but to read any make....now that will be a real struggle cos whatever it will be it will probably be the most unreliable thing ever.
Don't waste your money and go for one that will do the most for your own motor.
Mistakes made when incorrect info is given by a reader can be disaterous and very expensive to rectify.  ;)
