Farage's rage
« on: 18 November 2011, 11:24:18 »

Today we learn that the draft Irish budget has been seen in the Bundestag before reaching the Oireachtas in Dublin.

"German approved regimes have now been appointed in Italy and Greece, the Irish finance ministry is run by the Bundesfinanzminister with German “advisers” in Dublin acting as financial Gauleiters."

Small wonder, then, that Nigel Farage's speech on Wednesday has gone viral:

i agree with Farage as soon as papandreou mentioned referendum he was removed...the euro commision told ireland when there government was collapsing not to have an election..and now berlesconi resigns and is replaced by a man who isn't even a mp but happens to be an ex euro commisioner....old boys club springs to mind

Spot on for having the guts to do and say that. :y

What good will it do? Well I for one will circulate that around my circle.

Meanwhile Cameroon is in Berlin as we read hopefully facing up to Merkel. Despite my belief a financial transaction tax would be good for Britain IF the revenue is used sensibly for Britain, it will be a DISASTER if he comes back having agreed to let it prop up the dead duck of Europe.

Elections? :o How quaint. Do we still have them in Europe? ;) Will they abide by the result or will we see another country fall to the installation of Technocrats? ::)

It is such a given that the Labour party will lose and that the Tory party (PP) will win that they haven't any real commitments in their manifesto. My take is that Rajoy will have a baptism of fire next week as the money markets rip into Spain like they did Italy. Rajoy will introduce emergency austerity measures which will be very unpopular. The country has 22% unemployment for example (already). The money markets will focus on France for a while but when they are bored with the French (they will be more resilient than Italy or Greece), then they will turn back on Spain. At that point (next year) the muppet puppet from Brussels will be installed. By then Greece will of course have left the Euro and they will have massive inflation. Don't book your Greek holiday just yet.
