« on: 20 November 2011, 19:27:27 »

I cannot access ebay from home. I just get the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage " have also tried to ebay.com and ebay.eu and ebay.de all the same. The only one I can get on is ebay Australia.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Glad to hear it. The first time I discovered it I was almost tearing my hair out at one particular site that, only rarely, just decided not to load, and I discovered the cure by accident. I'm using a Belkin G router, and if one of our tech whizzes can  tell me why this should occur I would be delighted.:y

I suspect it's down to build quality because almost every "domestic" router I have used has occasionally had to be reset due to connectivity problems in one form or another, some of them on an almost weekly basis (eg, the newer Netgears).
I currently use a TL-R4299G dual WAN router that has been faultless to date, but I doubt many here will want to spend almost £200 on a hard wired only router.
