Symptoms are the power steering works at high revs, but at idle it goes to no assist every now and then. Changed the pump but is still doing it. I know what servotronic was like from my Senator, but this goes to completely no assist. Im wonder if the large puddle of about an inch deep i had in the passenger footwell cause of the drain in the scuttle being blocked has caused dampness to get into the relays.

changed for known good one ? your symptoms are of a tired pump where an increase of revs helps,
