air distribution for non climate miggy

Hi all the air distribution on my non climate miggy is stuck on the screen which is ok but now it's getting colder I need to sort it so it blows on the feet as well I've had the conrol panel out this morning and cannot see any loose vacuum pipes on the back where do these pipes go please forgot to say it's a 2.5 diesel gls est 1998 :)

have you checked that the vac pipes are not leaking, when engine has been running. turn the knob should hear a hissing sound when you turn knob if not then there is a leak in the main line. if no sound will need to take the hole cover off and check the rubber line to the switch and if not there trace to the rear of the dash.
