Yep... I thought this kind of mindless behaviour was all gone now >:( >:( >:(

It's a stretch of road I find myself driving daily, sometimes several times as well :o :o

I've always been a bit "aware" of people on bridges after the last time this sort of thing was going on but I just can't understand who in their right mind could think it a good idea ???

Sadly not unknown - even in my private car I've had two or three objects lobbed off bridges at me (luckily have missed, apart from one which hit the rear roof of my old V6), never mind at work.

Despite all the advances (or should I say alleged advances) made in social conditions, social awareness, modern thinking in how to relate to people, sophisticated measures to ensure those at risk are identified before they offend and imaginative measures deployed to help them when they do, sometimes you come to the conclusion that some members of our enlightened society are just no good and, in being so, simply need to be crushed in order to protect society from their poisonous presence. :( :(

It wasnt kids. There were two incidents within half an hour on different bridges 8 miles apart. That would need a vehicle. It has happened on quite a few occassions in the last 3 years, but no-one has been hurt before. The "concrete blocks" are bucket shaped,as though someone is mixing up the concrete in buckets, specifically to do this. Sounds to me like some sick twisted weirdo who needs stringing up.

I think GK meant that Colin Stagg can be held up as an example of someone who was found to be innocent after many people had assumed him to be guilty  :-\
