  Forecast snow tonight/tomorrow and again, later this week.....heavy in places.

.....and for the first time in nearly 10 years: "I couldn`t give a monkeys!"

Those 10 winter-years spent worrying about it, shovelling it, trying to survive in it, and (in the case of last year`s "-20C. inside the house, without any heating" winter); thinking we might actually freeze to death in it!

It`s all behind me (and the doggies) now: so, we`ll enjoy watching the wintry-flakes falling from the centrally heated joy of our house in 'civilisation'.....Shhhhhh, can you hear sleigh-bells?

I drove home through some slush that'd settled on the roads near Wigan. Rest of the way home was clear although there'd been a bad bump on the motorway which shut a lane according to the news, though when I got there, I couldn't see any traffic on it  so avoided it completely!

Yes, Cem......from the mountains to the sea!......380 metres less elevation and near to the beaches.

  The new problem is the date palms and coconut trees dropping their fruits on my lawn!

Friends at work have been thanking me for buying a 4x4....we have only had one frosty morning since I bought some de icer and a new scraper some 7 or 8 weeks ago.....Not making the best decisions at the moment...
