and there I was thinking that the basis of English Law is

"innocent until PROVEN guilty" ...

didn't realise it had been changed to

"local paper says it was X lets string them up"

I just hope, really hope, that you are never accused of anything .......

I saw this story a day or so ago.Couldnt read it all, just got the jist of what happened.Ive always tried to remain opposed to the death penalty, but I would happily inflict a slow painful death on the pondlife scum who did this.

Last two lines on the article seem to make some sense out of the sufferring.

Quote
Police said on Sunday that some media articles had generated unhelpful rumours and increased community tension in Gravesend.

They warned against seeking retribution or taking any form of vigilante action.

Seems like a good plan for on here as well.

Please......   ;)

What like that man accused of Joanna Yate's murder?

Slated by pressed, everything thought he did it, lets get him...... oh hang on, no wait, the other guy did it.  ::)

So what, vigilanties should rule? They should be given DNA evidence, told story from both sides.  ::)

As Entwood says, hope you are never incorrectly accused of anything  ;)
