Its been a long time since I saw resistor colour codes, modern resistors you can hardly see and they are so small they have no markings....

Its a good way to get me out and about rather than vegetating and getting progressively hacked off with odd jobs in the house, daytime TV, fixing cars and keeps me plain and simple staying active, physically and mentally....  Sometimes need a wee assist with some of the puzzle ones, though, such as this one.  Worked out the concept, just got the sums way off....   ;)

1/R= 1/R1+1/R2
just use the 1/x button on your calculator, add em up then 1/x again for the result.
I knew those years at college weren't totally wasted. ;D

Its easier than that for calculator (spreadsheet use) on parralel pairs:

Rp = (R1 x R2)/(R1 + R2)
