I agree. £17000 would buy all sorts of more suitable 'prestige' & 'classic' cars.  :y :y

I had the impression its a genuine ex Team Rothmans car, albeit with a diffeent engine. If thars the case its probably worth the money from a Historic rallying viewpoint.
Would rather have an ex DTV Chevette myself though.

I made a right arse of myself in one of those at a show, went into the middle when it was my turn to show off and then found I could not undo the handbrake....fly off....someone came to my rescue and we all enjoyed a laugh, at my expense.....well I was just a youngster...... ::) ::) :-[ :-[

Andrews Heat for Hire for the doubters...... :P :P  Drove and took home all Russell Brookes duplicate cars.....Oh the tales I could tell of Rally support and such things, great days..... :y :y :y
