I sort of guessed something like that was coming, and TBH, it brings your outlook and motives into even more question.

You find an unprovoked assault on a innocent bystander "funny" and post it across the web.

I would suggest that if the arrogant bully (and make no bones of it, that is what he is) who pushes the lad off the train is charged with assault and jailed you will be one of the first to complain. Yet you have no idea of any injuries the lad - who was doing no-one any harm - may have sustained.

However, in a previous thread you wanted a man who hit a pensioner on a train locked up.

And the daughter of your friend who assaulted someone should be freed.

What is the difference please ?? Assault is assault is it not ??

If that's the incident as depicted in Tunnie's 'Fare Dodger' thread I would have to disagree with you Nige. :(

Totally different DD.

Not the same incident and a totally different scenario. The lad in Tunnies thread was no innocent bystander, he was the instigator of his own downfall. This one, to this day I bet the lad doesn't even know what happened, unless he sees the vid.

Nothing really amusing in that, and it's quite possible (based on his outward behaviour) that the kid who was pushed had one or two mental health issues going on to start with which means he should have been cut even more slack IMO (although the ignorant can't think that far ahead).

How would we (the readers) be aware of this fact?

As a public transport official, if I'd been made aware of this incident, then the appropriate authorities would have been summoned to effect the appropriate assistance.

Did anyone actually check to see if that chap was okay?
No, everyone seemed to think that the episode was amusing - typical of today's society, sadly.
Make what you will of that .........  >:(

I like a joke.  I like practical jokes.  I like to see the funny side of dark situations.  I have had to see the funny side of some very dark situations to preserve some slight modicum of sanity whilst in the centre of lunacy.

Unfortunately (perhaps luckily) I fail to see whats amusing about that clip, set up or not.  Perhaps Harry Hill parted with £250 quid for it but frankly, to me, it is sad that someone who, by default, must be hard of thinking and finds that amusing.

The very nature of 'a joke' means that there must be a victim, be that real or imagined.  That being the case, I would ask that all OOF'ers - including the OP (Millwall) - rethink what they deem to post on OOF.

Doesn't look good on the face of it though. Has to be said.
