This is quite a wonderous invention in this technological age.

Loads of good, practical, howtoos for those of us who like to see something physically done rather than using a verbose descriptive set of words - just like I wrote!

Good for bringing dusty old music back to the front of your mind where it previously nestled quietly, almost forgotten, like the recent Pink Floyd and some of the very apt mood changing and uplifting posts by some.

Equally good for showing how ingenious constructions like the recent post on the V12 engine model and the like can expand mind and talent.

Just a pity that there seems to be a trend of posting purile pish on here thats perhaps best left on the u-tube version of sikipedia.........    ::)

If I had my way, all links to utube would be banned.  Constant posts on here with a "Look at this" utube post of mindless drivel.

(Un)fortunately for our membership, we have an Admin Team who probably think banning utube is probably a step too far.  Bugger.

I chose not to even open the thread...  ...was their a utube link in it then?  If so, based on my previous post, there is a 0.1% probability its not 'mindless drivel' ;D

As said in my original post, LOTS of good stuff on there.  Unfortunately, just as much crap and in my personal opinion, its a pity that some of the mindless purile crap floats its way onto OOF.

Please, dont stop posting.  All thats asked is to do just a wee bit of personal filtering beforehand so that the rest of the world gets a good and well thought of view of your tastes, not a disjointed, stilted, wrong one. 

If that makes sense.....

Is there any way of bringing back the 'preview' version of  links to YouTube? You can at least see what you're clicking on, have to admit I don't  bother clicking on many YouTube links anymore
