Several of us 'old hands' (nowadays) of the bus industry joined forces earlier this evening at a local workingmens club for a very 'seasonal' get-together!
 :D :D :D :D :D
Dear "Johnboy" (my former apprentice in National Bus Co days) and Andrew (my 'boss' in post -NBC times) had a brilliant evening, reminiscing about the 'old times' and 'what we got away with' over 4 or 5 bottles (each) of Newcastle Brown Ale (plus a few Southern Comfort chasers).
It was most humbling to hear our former gaffa express his appreciation for our services rendered whence 'the going got tough' and we helped him 'out of the cack'.

After visiting our local kebab house, all three of us are still going strong on chicken kebabs/chips/Necwastle Brwon here at Seth's Tewors!

'Tis been a great evineng, and thnaks to Linda (Johnboy's partner) for safely transporting us three miscreants here, and also to 'Dear Pamela' (aka 'Mrs Seth' to many OOFers), for suffering the ensuing chaos and banter here in the wee small hours.
Casper the hound must think that it's his birthday with all the left-overs!

It's truly been a great privilege to work with such wonderfully appreciative and loyal colleagues, and that the values that I instilled in 'em as youthful school-leavers over thirty years ago, still reign true!
