Not very far.

If you budget for very low 20s to the gallon while knocking about, might go as far as high 20s/very low 30s on a decent run.

Ime - 25mpg average,if your lucky. Unless you spend a high percentage of your driving time on motorways.

In my 3 litre auto I get 18 ish around town, all short journeys. In my 3 litre manual I get 25 ish round town all short journeys. I've got 34.8 out of both on a run, sat at 80 sometimes much faster

If auto, awful around town (mid teens), up to 35 (3.0) to 40 (2.5) on a long, slow cruise.  Overall, I'd expect low/mid 20s from a 3.0 and high 20s from a 2.5 auto.

Manual will be 3-5mpg better around town, mpg wise.

I`d be round th houses mainly, so a manual may be the way to go. Then again, the right car in the right condition who cares lol. To honest it`s not too far off my old 2.0 cav, that was getting around the 28 to 30 mark

I'm averaging about 25-28 in mine, that's a mix of steady 30mph (at 4 or 5am), back roads, motorway work, and the odd higher speed blat.

Over the last year, I've managed an average of 19.4mpg from the 3.0 auto, and 17.7mpg from the 3.2 auto (over last 6 months), both running LPG. Calculated the old fashioned way.  LPG probably knocks off 10%, maybe a bit more, from mpg.

I tend not to do many short journeys. Equally, I tend not to hang about.

Given that mpg, vs what I get on petrol (around 25mpg from the 3.2) - Really does make me question value of LPG on the V6  :-\

Given your driving style, I'm surprised you don't get more.

Still, I can happily live with nearly 18mpg at 69.9p a litre at normal filling station or 66.7p if I can pass an LPG Asda :D
