It's a charger plug... but what for?
« on: 31 December 2011, 12:57:38 »

Spotted this peeping out from the N/S windscreen pillar trim, traced it back - I'm assuming it's a satnav plug, but two questions - is there a way to test if it's connected (hold a bulb against it or something)... and anyone have an idea what make it's for? There's little arrows that haven't come out on Woman's phone camera, pointing around the rubber bit of the plug.

its only got one ring around it, i'd say that looks like a mono speaker plug for a previous phone car kit?

Mono speaker plug would usually be 3.5mm and a phone microphone is usually 2.5mm

Got bored of polishing the windows and traced it back into the interior light - is in fact a mic for a car kit. At least now I know how easy it is to move the headlining to hide wires :y
