I dont know the truth behind the case,but I do believe it could be argued that it was the watershed case in which the outcome at the time was the left gaining control of the police. It may be that the Lawrence family were used as pawns in a much bigger game.

Knowing what I know of this case the only one who needs hanging is the piece of scum who was knifed...this in no way was a racist incident....oh and the camera was put there because some one defaced the last memorial with truth....oh and this camera is monitored by the local plod paid for by taxpayers....disgraceful....

maybe someone more knowledgeble can tell me why is it none of the bad things lawrence has done are not allowed to be mentioned  the media have him down as a saint  which is not the case   and  no doubt the lawrences will start wanting compensation  so doreen can do more shopping  as shes always on about money

may be i dont know???.... but you come from around the areas me and millwall come from so you know the story....millwall dont get me started on saint dorreen...i will say one thing if she wants to find a racist...a bloody good mirror would be a good starting place

i think i had better move house as according to the bbc eltham and surrounding areas are full of nazi loving hooligan racists   ha ha where do they get this crap from  ive lived here for years and its a nice part of se london   where i am its like benetton all races live here  and generally get on and respect each other  so up yours to the bbc

I cant and wouldn't condone that but would suggest Newtons third law of motion had a profound influence on events of the day .
If you excuse the pun ,I don't think the circumstances surrounding the whole debacle were entirely black or white ..... ;)
