the kids today might know more but they aren't having as much fun as we did .i suppose its a push button world, how times change .If i had the choice to be a kid now or then........then any day of the week and twice on Sundays

Agreed, I still remember blowing up trees with fertiliser from the local farm, some icing sugar, a bit of parrafin to mix and an elastic band.

Ahh, those joyous days of freely available oxidising agents...

I remember being allowed to make Nitrogen Tri-iodide on the last day in school, that was with the full blessing of the Chemistry teacher !!!!!  Then we accidently spilt some of the result in the corridors
