Omega Offset and ET!
« on: 11 January 2012, 19:29:49 »

Had a reasonable look around OOF, and still was unsure hence here I am posting. I have the facelift elite alloys 17" I'm pretty Sure they're 5x110 and ET39, whats the width of these? But found a 19" set same 5x110 with ET45 and (8.5j width)would these fit without any trouble, or would need spacers etc. have seen some miggy's with 9.5j rears!!  :y :y

It varies with rim width.

My 8.5J (I think!) are ET32.  I know 8.5J ET39 foul the strut.

So, based on that, guess you're pissing in the wind.

AFAIK the ET range is 33-38 for Omegas. However, I'm also fairly certain that there are Migs with wheels greater than 38. As has already been pointed out, depends on rim width. I should think that the best way of checking would be to stick 'em on and see. I would also hazard a guess that you'd need spacers for the 19" (mine did). You might get away with that ET on the rear, but probably not the front. My 19" are ET 35.

Yours are 8j et30, mine are 8j et38 sport stars, no fouling problems with tyre size 245 40 18. Tyre rubbing issue was down to rim protection on the INSIDE edge of the tyre on stock rims  ??? Why they would do that I am not sure.  :-\

There is a 9j fitment for the rear btw.  ;)
