Banking Woes.
« on: 20 March 2008, 23:53:34 »

Just got home from work and seen the news about the state of the financial markets around the world.
Quote;
Following the problems in the sub-prime market in the USA and the run on Northern Rock Building Society, uncertainty has now hit the Japanese banking institutions.
In the last seven days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank has announced plans to cut some of it's branches.
Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song, while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nosed dived.
Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared staff may get a raw deal.

ok ok... couple of up to date ones then......
Heather Mills has just spent some of her divorce settlement on a plane.
She still intends to use a razor on the other leg though...

Paul McCartney was asked by the judge if Heather Mills was unstable. He thought for a few seconds and replied that sometimes she was, but a couple of folded beer mats usually did the trick.
