This is mental
« on: 17 January 2012, 23:14:45 »

Have you seen this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWfph3iNC-k

I'm too thick to embed it, but this guy is a lunatic. I must admit I'd do it though as I'm not really scared of much. Just wondering at what point do you discover you can do it? I mean you don't build upto it like getting the stabilisers removed off your first bike.

Where he comes close to the balloons is quality, any estimates on speed?

Considering he's currently in hospital with two broken legs after a jump from Table Mountain went 'a bit wrong' .. I'd say quite mental indeed.

Broken legs heal though, mostly. For the injury severity/frequency to fun ration, I'd say it's well worth it!

I suspect it was a lucky escape - he bounced off a bunch of rocks at great speed. Still, a few years back the fella jumping with him wasn't so lucky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xceW5DAMRfg

Yeah that's what luxobarges are for, boring sedate comfort. I think my paramotoring will have to go on hold this summer in place of doing this

Fair play, if I had the guts to do that, I'd do it, because that would give you a rush like no other.....
