Agreed, but i can't understand spending all that money on uprated brakes, engine, exhaust manifolds, ecu cams etc..  only to break the car....

He has built it up over a period of time and had a lot of fun with it. Im surprised hes breaking it tbh,and can only imagine he either has another project in mind,or cant bear to see someone else driving his pride and joy.I believe DLK felt like that about "Darth" when he dismantled it and sold it in bits.

Bikes are the same. Take a stock sports bike. Fit all the performance parts in the world. That cost more than bike itself. When selling the bike will not be worth double the value. Might get 20% extra on the total value of the vehichle perhaps, but thats it.

The only way to get that money back, as best you can, is to re fit the standard parts. Sell the vehicle as stock at market value, or break the entire thing. Then sell on the extras goodies individually.

Second hand values are so low in the uk, that the sum of the individual parts add up to waaay more than parts as a complete car.

At least that's my assumption, I guess he has his reasons.

Albs..  I know who you are talking about anyways, but I think i would be the same, I have invested lots into my Irmscher Omega..  and the thought of it oneday being in the hands of some little scrote is quite upsetting...  Knowing Serek he more than likly has another project in mind..  but its a very sad day to see that car being broken into pieces...

chrisgixer..  I agree mate..  if i were to sell my irmscher miggy i would only get about £1000 - £1500 for it...  but breaking it i would see almost double that back...  but alas..  I ain't getting rid of my baby no matter how much it will end up costing..  lmao

This is it. Sold my old omega with the kit removed ready to be painted black for my current car.
I had offers for the old car in stock form, and some enquired if I would sell it with the kit re fitted. Given the car sold for 3k ish, that would have put the total cost of the car with kit at almost 5k with sport stars shod with new sc3's. Nobody is going to pay that money for an omega which had 100k plus miles on it.

So as you say, to the end, the bitter bitter end... Unless a v8 comes up first.

seriously that was very hard decision to breake my car 

but at end of the day I maybe will make happy few people who look for parts, to get there project finish.
