Anyone know anything that stops your dog peeing up plants?

Although I find it funny to see Mrs Loo-knee doing her nut, then rinse the plants she has planted in big pots.. does anyone know of something to stop him doing this?
Apparently the stuff she has "get off" washes away with the rain ...

Any help and perhaps save the dogs life will be much appreciated  :D

I suggest you removing the smell of pee with help of any fluid that have stronger smell eg vinegar and others. The same time of it don't forget to punish the dog if tries again, supposedly a little shouting will be enough :y

If its an outside area  ?? I would suggest that you fence off an area  so that dog gets used to having its own area to use as it peeing area. I have my area in the garden and the dog has her  area which is all slabbed so that it can be washed down  every now and then... plush its easier to pick up the No 2's from a slabbed surface than a grassed area.

Pepper!  Dog will sniff before peeing, if doesn't like the smell it'll pee elsewhere!

Also think there are sprays available but don't know what effect they'll have on the plants?

dont think you will ever stop it Daz fencing off is the only solutuion its what are going to have to do would love to be prroved wrong

and doggy being a greyhound does not really keep much in :o :o have you ever seen a fat geryhound ;D ;D the only joy i get is watching him struggle to get one out before i have to go clear it up ;D ;D

You can these remote control collar things that either emit a horrible noise or smell whenever they do something you don't want them to. Eventually they learn by association of the bad smell/noise with whatever it is you don't want them doing, and stop doing it. Obviously you'd have to be there to watch it happening, which is a bummer.
