MOT Failure Point

If the windscreen wipers work ok but don't auto park at the bottom of the screen, is this a failure point in the MOT ?

I can cope with trying to stop themat the right time sk they park near the bottom of the screen, but if it means a failure I'll have to do something about it.

This fault isn't on the Mig btw.

If they just stop anywhere then it is officially a fail as they could stop and obscure your vision ::)

You may have an understandable tester so worth a chat with him to see what he would do ;)

Haha. "understandable tester" - the two words don't normally go together with regards to MOTs

D'you reckon it needs the wiper motor changing or could it be an issue with the steering column switch assembly?

What car? It's a fault with the park system which could be caused by a couple of things. Most likely motor area though

the "park" facility is in the motor assembly. truck mots require that they have the ability to clear the screen.

many dodges availablefor various tasks, just like the abilty to open the door from the inside. ie(leave the window open)
