Sale started this morning at 8.30, was supposed to start at 10 am but some numskull wanted to beat the rush
, oh well they spent £4
, closed the door for y breaky when she left, at which point another car load turned up, i thought ffs its only 8.38, bog off til 10 will ya, so i opened up again, 3 times this happened so i thought oh sod it and opened up n got every thing out etc, by 9 am i had made £50, hmm felt a bit better at that point, then i noticed my missus had put a pair of my fave boot in the sale just as a lady picked them up, i though i will out price my self, they not worth much, a £1 or so to someone else, so i said when asked, they are tenner, cheeky sod offered me £3 for them and she went on to explain they need re healling and new inner souls etc, what crap i thought, i said to her they are in fine fettle and dont need any thing doing to them and are worth a tenner, just as i thought she was about to put them down she said "OH GO ON THEN" i started to pannick, my boots, me bloody boots, just then the wife appeared and grabbed the money, SOLD!!!!!
i sulked for half an hour, Wifey sold me boots. Any way by 9.30 i had a ton in my sky rocket and thought, mmmm new boots, i'll teach her, then she announced thats the phone bill paid for,
Oh well, by 10 am, (the proper start time) we had made about £150. By 12 o clock it had died off and we were freezing so we got our eldest to sit there for an hour or 3
, we shut shop at 2pm and divvied up, £240, we got tomos to do yet so will update ya,
