Steering wheel controls
« on: 24 January 2012, 16:42:26 »

Hi Guys
Just recently my right hand steering wheel buttons have started playing up.
Top button (+) reduces volume.
Middle button (-) does nothing.
Bottom button (o) increases volume.
Does anybody have any ideas as to what is causing this malfunction.
Car is a facelift Elite estate with a CCR2006 Bose system.
TIA.

The 'o' is to toggle between radio and CD player. I can't help with the fix though. I'm sure someone will ;)

Buttons themselves & everything else appears to be OK.

Mine are all to hell too ( click the volume up button and it changes from radio to CD and vice versa ) coupled with the fact that the volume button on the unit itself just spins and does nothing to the volume level, I'm having some long, quiet drives to contemplate the world !!

Had the same issue with mine, ended up stripping down and found one of the very small plastic pins was broke and it was making a connection now and again on the small copper star shaped plate inside the button, ended up buying another set for a temmer from fleebay

TIA
