3.2 V6 - p0150 code
« on: 25 January 2012, 14:43:22 »

Hello, anywhere on the forum I found no solution to my / similar problem so I begin this topic and I am counting on your help. :)

I have Omega 3.2 2001 - without LPG. Like most users 2.6/3.2 I had p0420/p0430 codes, so I moved O2 sensors in accordance with this recommendation : http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90613.msg1155522#msg1155522

I thought that I worked it out with this problem but after this operation, there appeared an error code p0150 ( 8 ) - sporadic, and p0150 ( 9 ) - present.

The first thing I made a Lambda sensor replacement - no result, then, according to VX/opel TIS I checked the exhaust  (tightness) - it's ok

I have no more ideas, maybe you have? I will very thankful

sorry for my english, it's not my strong point

If you have changed the sensor (with a genuine - pattern are known to cause problems), I'd be checking wiring between sensor and ecu.

Thanks for the reply, but the wiring of sensor - ECU is certainly correct because when I move sensor back in its original place  (between the catalysts) p0150 code disappears and returns p0420/430.

So the main question is: why in my car code appears after moving sensors au others not?!

Is it the correct, genuine GM sensor?

Is B1S1 and B2S1 correctly flicking between rich/lean about once a second?

Yes, it is genuine GM sensor. Although I didn't buy new one but my friend has also 3.2 so I moved from his car sensors.

On the B2 sometimes for about 2 seconds light on lean ( reading via "My Naff Code Reader" )
