I hope after all thats been said on here you'll get your part just so he can prove us all wrong. Personally I would cancel the transaction via Paypal.

I would cancel but really need the part. He sent me pm's saying that he would send it Saturday am. So I should receive by Monday.
I didn't think that there would be anyone on here out to scam people.

Thats why the 250 post count was introduced. Unfortunately there are the odd one or two that spoil a brilliant forum for the majority. There is a rouges gallery in the parts for sale section  ;)

you have a valid point Pete, i dont know why markeymark did the things he did but maybe the only reason i never had any bad dealings with him was because i didnt get him to for example do headgaskets for me etc etc i dont think his work would like the idea of him bodging stuff back together for them if he could do a job properly lol...
well, for every gud 'un you get a bad en or something like that pmsl!

For future reference Latchie, I wouldn't deal with anyone with fewer than 250 posts, especially not when they've only just joined ;)

Hopefully all will be fine :-\

You sure you need this for your Irish 'MOT'  :-\ .. UK mainland MOT doesn't require it working  ;)

Couple of things....

How did you contact each other?  PM?  Did you PM him asking or did he contact you selling?

Personally, I would attempt to recoup the monies from paypal but there are time constraints as I understand it.  Plus, fair chance the monies you paid in have already been withdrawn and thus, not recoverable until other monies get added.

....... and some folks get all worked up when they dont get to sell their bits and bobs.   ::) ::) ::)

Now you can see why the 250 post count is required and, even then, its a sad fact that monies can still get pillaged via other messaging systems and Paypal.

Please, think before parting with your cash.   :y
