Author Topic: Interesting morning on a 2.3 Galaxy  (Read 1080 times)

Interesting morning on a 2.3 Galaxy

Neighbours got a an 'S' plate 2.3 Galaxy, this morning it wouldn't fire.

I took the plug cover off to reveal 2 coil packs, and almost, but not quite, bare wires feeding them!

The sheathing was as brittle as hell.

Cut the old wires back, and with new wire, spade, inline connectors and crimping tool, rewired it.

Fired first time,

Jobs a good un' :y

Just need to fire the soldering iron up now & do a proper job!  ;D ;D ;D
