cold crank amps

Just a quick question, my wifes car battery is playing up. Am i right in saying the bigger the cca is the easier the car will start in this cold weather.

Yes, But only if the battery has a good level of charge in it

Lights / heaters / wipers / low mileage / audio, mean that they are just as prone to go flat in these temperatures as any others

The car won't necessarily start any easier if you fit a battery with a larger CCA than standard, it will just have the ability to turn the engine over for a longer period.

Keep an open mind about the claimed capability of the battery.

Good quality usually costs money. I would prefer to buy a smaller genuine battery than a larger no-name battery of unknown provenance.

Just stick to and original battery! They might be cheaper than you think  :y
