hi fella well basicly sport mode holds the revs longer and higher before it changes up and snow mode makes it pull away in 3 rd gear to stop wheel spin if i remember, auto or manuel a lsd does the same thing.

i was told it might take the power down abit, doesnt realy matter to much as long as it doesnt do any damage

Wont do anything to the power, it will drive like a normal Diff untill the LSD kicks in (TC off), the only damage it will do will be your rear tyres if you get addicted to playing with it.

Driven a few Auto's with LSD no probs, just with a Manual box its more controllable.

Are you renewing the Diff Oil or is it all intact?

Not that I know much about such things but advice I've picked up on here is to use the correct oil (normally from VX) and the correct diff oil additive.  Something about generic oils cream crackering the diff internals if used incorrectly.  If you have a search about, no doubt you will find what I mean.
