Road tax

Just been looking at the D.V.L.A. road tax costs.....did not know that as from 1st march 2001 if you want to tax a 2.2 omega the cost is £445.....and if it is 3.0 ltr  the cost is £460...add to that the cost of the insurance it may out cost the price of the car.No wonder they are a lot of car for such crap money..surely i cant be seeing things can  i :o >:(

I have seen that but its not correct just taxed mine cost i think was 260 for 12 months.  :y

you only pay band K as it was registered before 2006 .....£143 6 months £260 for the year

yeah mine for 6 months was £147...i think.....certainley was'nt anywhere near what you have quoted :y

DVLA/Gov back pedalled because the new rules were originally going to be back dated.

Cars going great now thanks Mark just gotta get it of wifey now and again ;D ;D but all good mate.where is millwall is he on a ban ;D ;D

now thats funny you should say that paul...as me and lisa were discussing that the other day as he is rather quite...unless he is enjoying the pvc of them wellies too much????? :y

the tax issue was what i looked into before buying the MV6....if it was goin to be £400+ i would never of purchased it..thankfully it wasnt,and since the 1.8 astra convertible we hdid have was virtually as dear,i feel no contest lol
