Hi all,

I knew that the car was eating tyres on the front which is why I had the geometry done at Xmas before doing a few thousand miles.

I can't be certain, but I think it still might be munching the nearside front. It's done 5-10k and is almost on the tread-wear. I can't tell if it was before or after the geometry. The car feels really good to drive, if it was FWD I'd understand. Can you share any info on other common issues that can rinse tyres? Wishbones? Pas being on the way out etc..

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Mv6 I take it? What figures on the print out? ESP toe and camber?

If you already had uneven wear on the tyres, it will continue through the life of the tyre regardless of geometry

Whilst I thought it wouldnt get any worse you are right it was stupid to forget it wouldn't get worse!

these are very sensitive to adjustments.

a FULL laser-type 4-wheel rig is needed - front and rear camber and toe are needed. - it's just not local Kwik-fit stuff.

And to clarify, a four wheel laser alignment, which is normally the best a tyre place will have, is not the same thing, and is no good
