Been married for 10 years now, the only thing the bedroom gets used for now is sleep  ;D

I've been married 30 years Jon & the bedroom is used to moan about all the aches & pains of the day! ;D Any sleep I get is by nodding off on the sofa (until the sciatica wakes me up :'() It's grand getting old mate ::) ;D

Yes. Rarely on at night, but she turns it on to BBC when she leaves in the morning - she knows the BBC grinds my axe in the morning with that thick Welsh tart and the gormless idiot, so I have to get up to turn it off. Bitch.

Buy yourself a universal remote, hide it in the sock drawer .. viola, you no longer have to get up ;)

Unless it's a 1960s set with big windy dials on it..

She leaves the remotes nearby, but I have to wake up to use them. Once awake, I'm up.

Yes it's strange, in Basrah once asleep the rockets landing all around us and the alarms would not wake me up.  But if an electrical device was left on I'd have an awful night's sleep.
