You know my address. 1st class is best, don't want them going off in the post :P
I remember the days when first class post was on your mat the morning (before 8am) after it had been posted, does it still work that way where you are?  :o

Around here it seems to be:
1st class = when we can be bothered
2nd class = if we can be bothered

The local posties here are actually pretty good TBH. Like everywhere, one delivery a day (excluding parcels, as they come on van), but generally next day for 1st class, and a couple of days for 2nd.  Can't complain about the service we get here (and blondie is pretty fit, and has a nice smile ::))
[/highlight]

Perhaps if you let him know that TB, you'd get your post even quicker in future? :D ;D ;)

Our post service would be great if only they could read the address. :-X

After a long and tense wait this morning I got a call from the vets about half an hour ago. All went well and she's coming home tonight :y

I'm sure she'll be feeling very sorry for herself but at least we'll have her home :y

I'll update again later once SWMBO has collected her and spoken with the vet :y

Thanks for the support!

As for the oven... I'll do some "Quality Control" tests during the week I expect ::)

good news..  :y

Oh dear, not having a lot of luck with the felines are we ::) Well, the bill wasn't as bad as I feared... £315 or so, with another check up in a week's time to be added ::)

My Mrs TB's daft moggie doesn't want any attention, despite my best attempts to antagonise it with a laser pen. Playing gets in the way of sleeping I think...

Here she is showing off her bandage and IV ::)

Little Princess and her Bandage by lazydocker, on Flickr

Miss Vamps went aaawwwwww when I showed her the picture, she commented that 'Bumble' her cat, had a blue bandage like that, on one of his expensive trips to the vets.... ::) ::)
We both hope she pull through OK and that everything is OK :y :y :y
It certainly will be! Over £100 for IV fluids overnight :o

I always said that expensive vets bills wouldn't happen with her and that I wouldn't pay more than a couple of hundred pounds for treatment ::) That went out the window yesterday! "Yes, do what is best for her" ::) ;D

Been a really strange night... Neither of us slept well because there was someone missing ::)

That's almost the same words, the first time ::) ::) Sunday so at the Emergency Vets, cat has been run over.... ::) ::) ::)Dog is insure, always thought just get the cat put down :-X I had swmbo and little Miss Vamps with me, looked at swmbo she said 'well you can explain to your daughter' so the words 'put him out of his misery' turned into 'do whatever you have to do'..... ::) ::) ::)

I discovered my infra red heat gun in a drawer about a week ago. It had been there for a year, at a guess. Picked it up and the cat was instantly at my side, looking all over the room. Wondered what was up until I remembered that it had a laser pointer built in. Amazing what they remember whilst giving the impression that they are daft as a brush most of the time. ;D
