Drivers door switch cluster!
« on: 14 February 2012, 17:47:33 »

Hi! I have a problem with the drivers door "lazy" door lock. I took the door card off and had a quick look and decided that a new solenoid is required. As the weather up here is brass monkeys, I put the door card back together. Now, the switch cluster does not work properly. The switches seem as if there is nothing connected, just loose. Is there a bottom half to these switches? which has come loose when I reinserted the damn thing.
Thanks!  :-\

No! the whole lot. No electric windows, no wing mirrors, no nothing! The switches themselves just seem to have gone loose, as if there is nothing attached. Weird.

Can be separated in two. Prise the switch bank out, see if it`s come apart

The bottom half has just came off, so the switches won't  toutch the circuit board, remove and press together, and secure as it tends to loose again...

Fixed! the switch unit had come apart. I put back together with duck tape to stop it happening again. Thanks to all who replied. Brill.  :y :y
