Combi boiler snag
« on: 14 February 2012, 23:54:42 »

My Vokera Maxin boiler has started playing up. Over the last few days, the reset button has started illuminating with increasing frequency. Boiler fires up straight away when pressed, but it clearly needs attention. Any obvious checks I need to do before calling in the engineer? (Pressure is fine at 1.5bar).

Thanks in advance  :y

When was the lasttime is was serviced? If long ago, there's your problem. Could be a blocked jet, build up of crap inside - it's had to work hard recently!

Get in there with a stiff brush and a vacuum cleaner and give it a good clean  :y
