There are some wiring changes needed also. If possible go back to the Elite and hack off a few inches of the wiring loom that connected to the headlights you got.
The reason is that the dipped beams only are Xenon and instead of being powered via the multi-connector, there is a separate one for the ballast supply (with its own earth also). You simply make a parallel connection from the yellow/brown (dipped supply) and brown (earth) to the ballast supply which has its own separate 2 pin connector. IIRC.

ESSENTIAL that these connections are done properly. The Xenon ballasts fire up taking an inrush current of over 18 amps - which then gradually reduces to about 3.5 amps over a couple of minutes after the lights have warmed up. As the current is high the connections need to be done properly - if you use Scotchbloks

then don't be surprised if they melt at some time in the future!
Doing it this way also means that you can swap back to the normal projectors just by plugging in. As has been said then the adjuster motors simply swap over from your current headlights.
