A whacking great big old yank tank with a monstrous v8.

A Dodge Charger I think its called like The General Lee would be the only American car I would buy :y

I know a fella with a Dodge Challenger for sale.. not quite as nice looking as the Charger depending on your POV but it's tax free (1972), restored, 440cu in motor, manual transmission (fairly rare in a yank tank!) and aftermarket suspension apparently designed by an Aston Martin design engineer.

I can always put you in touch if you're interested :)

Its very good of you and appreciated :-* but when I drove in Spain I near on killed us all as I could not get my head around being on the wrong side of the road, so not sure a Yank car is the way forward for me   ;D

C'mon, you soon get used to it, in fact for me it's the other way round. I'm driving a RHD car over there and when I go back to Scotland, there's many a time I've come out of junctions and see traffic heading towards me....WTF!!! LOL

I reckon that they have done you a favour 'cos it was too fast and it could get you nicked easily.

You're BMW suggestion was nice - how about a 635csi?

My next door neighbour used to have one back in the 80's - loved them ever since and they seem to hold their value well

I am toying with a kit car, with a 3.0 Omega engine in it... But then I will fall into the same foot down category as I am in with the Scoob.. Which is brilliant but find yourself doing it more often.. So only a matter of time before I get nicked :(

Something a little different I am also toying with to slow me down.

You can't do this anyway as the 3.0 is mine  :y
