They are getting cheaper all the time paul,so no reason why you cant get another when things pick up. :y
You do seem to have been unlucky with your Mig tbh.It seems to have given a few big expensive problems, which tbh most of them dont.Still its sorted now so shouldnt need much more than regular servicing. My first one was a bit similar, gave nothing but trouble from when I bought it.Needed a new gearbox and then it was one thing after another.Just got all the problems ironed out eventually, and then it was getting old so I sold it. ::)
I had the advantage I suppose of doing my own work, although when I went to change the box,I hadnt much clue what I was doing. In fact I think that was when I found OOF.Maybe you should get a few tools and start doing our own servicing etc.Paul ?
I know you get Daz to do the big jobs, and  you wont get better, but if you want to start doing the basic stuff theres an endless supply of advice on here, and you could save yourself a lot of money. ;)

Getting back to the point - if I were Daz,I would consider the 840i. A cracking car,now worth a fraction of what they once were.probably not that hard to maintain. Parts may be pricey ? and it will have an addiction to petrol stations though.

I am toying with a kit car, with a 3.0 Omega engine in it... But then I will fall into the same foot down category as I am in with the Scoob.. Which is brilliant but find yourself doing it more often.. So only a matter of time before I get nicked :(

Something a little different I am also toying with to slow me down.

You can't do this anyway as the 3.0 is mine  :y

Thats torn that then  ;D

A mate of mine had one new, I am sure he paid need on 80 grand for it :o although I could be wrong....
But what a sound, and from about 50 to 100 odd was breath taking.... Not sure what bhp it was but must have been near 300..
Just love the look and pop up headlights...

Although it looks a nice car it looks the same as the rest of them too me mate, so no not really. A mate of mine has the X5 sports thing, he says its like the M range.. which I am sure would have given my scoob a seeing off...until the others lmao ;D

that was the plan with the mig to do it myself  ;D ;D its a very good car now eventually i will start doing some work on the car myself  i used to but to be honest Albs just dont have the time or the energy..need to find another career i think . I had to hang 11 doors today to make some decent bucks after you do those sort of jobs my old body falls out the van and crawls to the front door ;D ;D love to be able to do the things to cars you guys do but dont have time or energy at the moment..example the luggage cover got from james still not fitted :-[ :-[ i am a disgrace to OOF  ;D ;D
