The gauge does sit at 95 like in the guide but this quote :

Mine does climb above normal but i cant hear any fans cutting in  ::)

Sounds like you need to check out fuses etc for the fans.I vaguely remember when I had similar trouble,there was a fuse (10A iirc)in the engine bay  fuse/relay box for the fans.Its almost hidden by the big thick wiring loom which is in there.Might be worth a look. :y

Will check...

If i was to just keep the car running on tickover should the fans cut in eventually like they normally should say in traffic ...im thinking the switch is faulty if the fans dont cut in .

My aircon has been removed /bypassed with non aircon belt ...if that makes any difference   :-\

I think it would be 18A from that diagram. Bypassed aircon shouldnt make any difference afaik.

Fusebox in engine bay.

1 GREEN 30 AMP fuse blown

1 SUSPECT GREEN 30 amp blown next to it .

Is this been my problem  :-\

Probably.Replace them and see what happens.

Had some spares so i have replaced them , found a spare temp switch so that will be my next step if all else fails ..relays look ok but dont know how you tell if they are faulty other than looking for signs of being burnt out  :y
