injector pump

i got a 2.5td estate given last week owner said he put petrol in not diesel 5 mile later car stopped wouldnt start injector pump not injecting fuel      so i replaced pump ( S/H PUMP but was ok on donner car) cleaned out fuel system new diesel primed up pump still no fuel to injectors  ??? does the new pump need programing all numbers on both matched last three are 994 can any body help or had same problem     also checked solenoid valve works ok    ???

Probably needs bleeding - crack loose the pipe as it enters injectors, whilst cranking When spurts of diesel arrive, move onto next cylinder.

Check the wire on the start/stop solinoid on the pump you should here it click when ignition is turned on/off if it doesn't click take a direct feed from the battery to the solinoid to test its working.
Another thing to try is put a direct earth from the battery to the ECU by the means of a jump cable as you might of disturbed the ecu and its not getting an earth.

checked in tank pump? bet tis goosed hence no fuel,

Hmm if its getting to the ij ok then it must be the immobilisor or the ecu isnt letting it work,
where in spain are you?

have you checked the engine with tec 2 to see if any codes come up or faults?
may be one of the sensors is giving a wrong signal stopping the engine from running.

WELL SORRY DUDE, IM DOWN IN MALAGA :'( to far to come and help!! if its pre 98 ive get tech1 here to have a look but as said to far for me

hope its not my old one though!! ;D
