Seat wiring
« on: 18 February 2012, 06:45:52 »

Hi, thinking of upgrading my cloth interior to leather but I have the blank on my row of dash switches where the heated seat switch would be (I have a Reflection PFL, roughly CD trim level)

Wondering if anyone knows whether the wiring for the heated seats would be present in my car so I can retro-fit a heated seat switch ??  Not sure I can face unheated leather and I know someone else who definately won't  ;D

I believe it is in place.

Ensure that you buy the right Omega seats for your car, as the early prefacelift, mini facelift and facelift seats are NOT interchangable.

Yeah I've read your maintenance guide on that subject, very useful.  Leather is from elite, same letter reg as mine so should be OK.  Think I need to look behind to see if wiring is present, wondering what is the quickest way to gain access ie removal of bank of switches or do they come out individually ??
