Caravans
« on: 24 August 2007, 12:56:39 »

I know some people will probably moan about them, but as these cars are brought as tow cars  ::) would it be possible to start a caravan/towing section to include towing advice/weights etc.It could inculde all aspects off towing for example tips and advice on towing and also towbars and wiring. I am not sure how many of us have caravans but I guess there are a few out there. It could include camping info aswell.Just an idea may be worth thinking about

I've got one and I know several others have as well.

Perhaps TheBoy could be the moderator. I know how much he loves caravans.  ::) ::)

Anyway, not for me to say but I suspect there is as much chance of the next OOF meet being on the moon as there being a caravan section on here.

Shame.  :'( :'( :'(

I  cant make the meet thats just coming up, I wish I had thought about it before but work makes it difficult to get away. But I  hope to be there in the future, in my nice warm caravan while you  are in your tent sleeping on that damp lumpy bit of grass  :) Seriously its not just aimed at caravans more towing in general . Oh I would let you pass eventually  ;D

so what are you trying to say? ;D

seriously i reckon caravan topics or towing topics are usually covered in general help anyway or general chat, since there's not too many threads its easy enough to just search "caravan" to find answers at the moment

So how many people tow caravans or trailers then I sure there are a few out there  ;) Tow bars are a good parking aid too  ;D saved my bumper a couple of times on this and my cars before . On my last Omega the escort that tried parking in my boot on the M25 did not come off too well  ::) but saying that neither did the Omega  >:( He had a nice V shaped indentation where the bonnet was  ;D
