Well they have charged £95 to tell me that there is no compression in no1 cyl :D :D :D :D
Tell me something I dont know >:(

They now want to take the head off £400 if  they decide that the spark plug was not to blame.
They are not however sending the spark plug off for analysis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????????????

I have told them not to go ahead & that the car will stay there until they tell me what has happened!!!!!!!!

I have bought an identical MIG to keep me going  :y
It can stay there forever, no use to me  :( :( :(
I will make them prove that the spark plug did not damaged my engine if it kills me.

Only thing is that there are so many new parts on that car its scary  :-\ was driving like a new car  >:(

trusting the problem side in these kind of events wont bring any result imo..

you had to find an independent expert and a legal report ..  :-\

When I worked for a coach company we had an oil pump drive fail on a coach. The engine had been reconditioned but the company claimed we had not kept an eye on the oil level.
This company checked the engine and we had the reconditioners over a barrel. - end of argument and they supplied another engine.
They are not cheap but they are good!
